Documents Required

Pre-requisites

• Passport: Issued within the last 10 years, with at least two blank pages and valid for at least three months beyond the planned departure date.
• ID Photograph: As per Photo Specifications.
• UK Residency:
  • Provide a UK eVisa printout from UKVI with a valid share code.
• Official Travel Document: If applicable, a Note Verbale is required.

Purpose of Travel

Internship Programme

• Internship agreement signed by the French administration.

Student in Intra-European Mobility Programme

• For EEF (Études en France) countries: Certificate of pre-registration generated by the EEF-Pastel application with an EEF ID number.
• For non-EEF countries: Certificate of pre-registration (or registration) in a higher education or training institution.
• Proof of participation in a European cooperation programme, student exchange, or agreement between institutions.
• Copy of the last completed degree (for non-EEF applicants).

Proof of Finance

• For Internships: Proof of financial resources showing €1,480 per month.
• For Student Mobility:
  • Minimum financial support of €615 per month.
  • Recent UK bank statements showing the applicant’s name and sufficient funds for tuition, accommodation, and food.
  • Proof of scholarship, if applicable.
  • If financially sponsored:
    • Sponsorship letter stating financial responsibility and relationship to the applicant.
    • Sponsor’s proof of ID and French residence permit.
    • Sponsor’s recent bank statements (last 3 months) and latest payslips.
    • Latest French income tax statement, if applicable.

Proof of Accommodation

• Hotel booking or rental agreement stating full name, stay dates, and address.
• Sworn statement/undertaking from host (institution, organization, or private individual).
• Explanatory letter from the student detailing accommodation plans.

Travel Health Insurance

• For short stays: Must cover the entire period of stay.
• For long stays: Must be valid for the duration of the visa.

Photo Specifications

• Recent and True to Appearance: The photograph must reflect your current appearance and must not be older than six months.
• Size Requirements: The photo should be between 35 mm and 40 mm wide.
• Face Proportion: The face should occupy 32 mm to 36 mm(approximately 70-80% of the photo) from chin to forehead, excluding hair.
• Background: A plain, light-colored backgroundis required, with no shadows or patterns.
• Expression: A neutral expression, with both eyes open and clearly visible. No excessive smiling or frowning.
• Head Position: The face must be centered and looking directly at the camera.
• Glasses & Accessories: No tinted glasses, reflections, or glare; frames must not cover the eyes. Head coverings are only permitted for religious or medical reasons and must not obscure facial features.
